Royal Welsh Show 2006

We had our usual strong entry of cattle at the Show. We were pleased to have Mrs Pat Stanley as our judge this year. We were proud to be able to put forward classes of females that did our breed justice. We understand that Pat was a little confused as our cattle had no horns. She is one of the foremost Longhorn breeders in the UK.

Pat picked Ashrose Beverley 14th as her Breed Champion owned by Otter & Co, and Tir Mynach Princess owned by Davis and Hemingway as her reserve.

We were pleased to have Gary and Julie Buller at the show as well. This visit was fitted in just before they returned to Australia. They appeared to have seem most of the major herd in the UK and Ireland. They must have seen more of the UK than most of who live here. We found their visit very stimulating and are now more than ever encouraged to go out and promote the breed.
