Waterfield Murray Greys

Home Produced Quality Beef

Free from Sprays & Fertilisers  :  No Order Too Small  :  Mail Order Available

photo : waterfield louis - soldThe “Waterfield” herd of Murray Greys has been established some twenty years. I quickly learned that Murray Grey beef is a quality product and realised that the way forward was to produce and promote it. I have been delighted by the response of my
customers, many of whom are still buying beef from me some ten years on.

I try hard wherever possible to avoid the use of artificial sprays or fertilisers, preferring to use natural products.

The calves are single suckled, then weaned and over-wintered on straw and silage. In the spring they are turned out and finished off grass at around 24 months.

In the summer I show some of the cattle, which gives me great pleasure and satisfaction, but the way forward is to produce and sell the beef direct. This way you get an excellent return on your product and you always have quality beef in your freezer. Only pure Murray Greys are used for beef production.
